In average you will need 1 ½ batteries per day, at a cost of S$4 - 5 per piece.
As the only Cochlear Implant System available today, Advanced Bionics can be 100 % operated with rechargeable batteries. This is independent of any settings or programs used in the sound processor.
All other products, if they have rechargeable batteries at all, are limited to use it under certain settings and programs only.
