THSG’s Open House in Indonesia

From December 2009 to March 2010 The Hearing Solution Group Indonesia (PT.ABDI) held open houses in some of its branches. Customers were introduced to the latest product from Switzerland which is able to locate disturbing noise sources and suppress them. There were special offers including 20% discount, guarantee extension to 3 years and 30 pieces of battery for each hearing instrument purchased. Visitors also got free services for cleaning and fitting their hearing instruments. These events received enthusiastic response from customers.

Advanced Bionics Donated Two Cochlear Implant to I-Hear Foundation

On 5th January 2010, I-Hear Foundation and THSG Indonesia/PT.ABDI organized a gala dinner party at Hotel Mulia, Jakarta. The event was held to celebrate the donation of two HiRes 90k Harmony Implant Systems from Advanced Bionics (USA) to I-Hear Foundation in August 2009. The Harmony Implants Systems were given to Ganen (18 months) and Ramzy (7 years old), children of I-Hear families. They had their implantation surgery on 27th & 28th August 2009 at Sanglah Hospital in Bali.

The event was attended by H.E. Cameron R. Hume, USA Ambassador to Indonesia and Lawrence Johnson, USA Commercial Attaché to Indonesia and many more distinguished guests. All the guests were entertained by performances of I-Hear Foundation children, all of them are hearing impaired who have been using Cochlear Implants or hearing instruments. They were singing, reading books and poetry, and playing violin just like normal hearing children.
