Exhibition & Hearing Screening at 3 General Hospitals in Malaysia

In the month of June, The Hearing Solution Group was involved in the exhibition and hearing session at 3 general hospitals in Kuala Lumpur, Sungai Petani & Klang. Those hospitals have given us the opportunity to enhance our patient care and helped us to increase awareness of hearing care amongst the public. From 16th – 17th June 2010, Hospital University Kebangsaan Malaysia (HUKM) celebrated Customer Service Day (Hari Mesra Pelanggan) with the official theme ‘Rehab Day’. The Hearing Solution Group was joined in this event & offered an exhibition and hearing screening there. Besides, the departments of the HUKM also provided the health checked to the internal customers of the hospital. From the Hearing Session, The Hearing Solution Group had screened 342 visitors.

From 23rd – 24th June 2010, the ORL department of Hospital Sultan Abdul Halim (HSAH) at Sungai Petani, Kedah organized The Hearing & Speech Day. We provided the Hearing Screening to its internal customers & held an exhibition on these 2 days. From the hearing screening, we had successfully screened 387 visitors. We gained a very good feedback from the internal customers & the staffs of this hospital.

On 29th June 2010, in conjunction with the Better Hearing & Speech Month, The Hearing Solution Group was invited by Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang to participate in the exhibition and Hearing Screening at the lobby of particular hospital. The objective was to increase the awareness of the important of Hearing amongst the public. THSG was completed to screen for the amount of 308 visitors in one day.

Those events at 3 General Hospitals were really successful as we obtained very good responses from the public. The total of visitors who went through the screening was 1073 pax. Each visitor was entitled to receive goodie bag & Free Hearing Test voucher. Hopefully with participate on this kind of event, THSG will continuously to raise the awareness of the Hearing Care amongst the public.

Exhibition & Hearing at Star Parade Shopping Mall in Alor Star, Kedah

The Hearing Solution Group conducted its first Free Hearing Screening Session at one of the shopping mall in Alor Setar, which is Star Parade on 25th June 2010. It was also a way of contributing back to the community, as well as to introduce the new branch in Alor Setar and get the public familiarized with the services offered by The Hearing Solution Group. For the Hearing Screening, about 70 of visitors were registered and went through the hearing screening. Each of them received a goodie bag. The Free Hearing Test vouchers are given to those people who have missed the sound form the hearing screening.
